Hi there! I’m Christina. I grew up in the High Desert of California, with a rich cultural background, stemming from Mexican and Colombian heritage. My life has always been intertwined with nature and animals, often spending my free time hiking, reading outdoors, or tending to my horses at the ranch. Nature’s influence is evident in all aspects of my work as a therapist.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion and person-centered care, ensuring you acquire the tools to navigate life’s challenges. I recognize our fundamental human need for connection, understanding, and acknowledgment. My goal in our sessions is to create a safe space where the uncharted aspects of yourself, often left in the shadows, can be explored and brought into the light for healing and reintegration.

In terms of credentials, I hold a Master’s degree in clinical psychology, specializing in trauma, from Antioch University. I am certified in Ecotherapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Level 1 of the Trauma Resiliency Model. With extensive experience in DBT, ERP, EFFT, and CFT, I have held clinical and management positions in various treatment settings, from inpatient to outpatient care. My therapeutic approach is marked by curiosity and open-mindedness. If you are grappling with disconnection, anxiety, eating issues, or the burden of shame, I’m here to provide a supportive environment for your healing and personal growth. I’m deeply honored to be part of your journey and eager to connect with you.
